CREATING CHARACTERS WITH HEART

Daniel “Danny” Arriaga is an award-winning character designer, visual development artist, and art director with more than 25 years of experience in animation.

His career began at Pixar, where he contributed to films including Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, Ratatouille, WALL-E, and Up. He later served as Character Art Director on Toy Story 3 and Coco and worked as a character designer on Inside Out.

Danny’s work also includes projects for Walt Disney Animation Studios, Illumination, Warner Bros., and Netflix.

Today, Danny continues creating characters for feature animation while serving as co-founder and co-owner of Poppin Bubble Studios alongside his wife, Esther. Together, they are developing Gum It Up Makers, their original creator-owned toy and storytelling universe.
